The Atelier

A house devoted to the quiet art of beautiful hair.

Crinis Hair was born from a single conviction — that luxury is not loud. It lives in the weight of a bundle in the hand, the unbroken light along a strand, the discretion of a craftsman who knows exactly when to stop.

Every collection is curated from a small circle of trusted partners. Every strand is traced, washed, and finished in our own atelier — never chemically processed, never compromised.

The Ethos

Sourced with conscience.
Crafted with care.

01

Traceable Origin

Every strand is traced to a single donor in a partner village — fairly compensated, mutually respected.

02

Hand Finished

Sorted, washed, and weft by hand in our atelier. No silicone coatings, no acid baths.

03

Lifetime Care

Each Crinis piece is accompanied by a refresh ritual and lifetime guidance from our stylists.

Crinis dressed me for my wedding and quietly reappears for every chapter that has mattered since. It is the closest thing I have to a family heirloom.

The midnight ritual: silk, oil, stillness.

Care

The midnight ritual: silk, oil, stillness.

There is a quiet hour, just before sleep, when the day's noise finally lifts. We treat it as sacred. A few drops of warm camellia oil, worked from mid-length to ends. Hair gathered loosely — never tight — into a low silk wrap.

What you avoid matters as much as what you do. No cotton against the strand. No hot tools after eight. No tension at the root. The result, by morning, is hair that has rested as deeply as you have.

Where our hair comes from.

Sourcing

Where our hair comes from.

Our hair is sourced from three trusted regions — Vietnam, Cambodia, and Brazil. From the highlands of northern Vietnam comes a sleek, jet-black silky-straight strand, prized for its weight and reflective shine. From rural Cambodia, a softly textured natural wave with deep, even pigment. And from Brazil, a richer, body-wave hair celebrated for its versatility and warm undertone.

Every bundle is single-donor and raw — never blended, never acid-bathed, never silicone-coated. We work directly with small collectives in each country, paying above market and tracing each cut back to the woman who gave it. Luxury, we believe, begins with the dignity of the hands that make it possible.

On the case for the simple, devastating bob.

Style

On the case for the simple, devastating bob.

The bob is the rare cut that flatters the wearer rather than the room. It asks nothing of you — no curling, no fuss — and gives back a clean architectural line that reads as confidence from across a restaurant.

Our advice: take it just past the jaw, blunt at the perimeter, with the faintest interior graduation for movement. Worn with a bare ear and a strong brow, it is the most modern thing a woman can do with her hair this year.

Frequently Asked

The atelier, answered.

Sourcing, longevity, and bespoke — everything our private clients ask before their first piece.

Where is Crinis Hair sourced from?
Every Crinis bundle is single-donor raw virgin hair sourced directly from temple and village partners in Vietnam (jet-black silky-straight), Cambodia (softly textured natural wave), and Brazil (rich body-wave with warm undertones). Hair is never blended, acid-bathed, or silicone-coated.
What does “raw virgin hair” actually mean?
Raw virgin hair is collected from one donor in its natural state — cuticles aligned in one direction, no chemical processing, no colour stripping, no steam-set texture. It is the highest grade of human hair and behaves like the hair it was cut from.
How long do Crinis bundles and wigs last?
With proper care, Crinis bundles last two to five years and wigs three to five years. We hand-finish every piece in our Accra atelier and recommend a quarterly conditioning ritual to extend lifespan.
Do you offer custom wigs and bespoke colour?
Yes. Every Crinis piece can be tailored — length, density, lace type, closure, and hand-painted colour. Begin a private consultation and a stylist will compose yours within one business day.
Do you ship worldwide from Accra?
Yes. Crinis ships globally with insured express courier from our Accra atelier, typically within five business days of order confirmation. Bespoke pieces take four to six weeks to compose.
